Soleil [Groupe Delcourt]

The Delcourt Group, which comprises, amongst others, the Delcourt and Soleil publishing houses, is currently the main independent publishing group of French-language comic books. Its catalogue – which has more than 10,000 titles of bandes dessinées, graphic novels, comics and mangas, with more than 500 new titles every year. One can find many prize-winning successes such as Come Prima by Alfred, La Saga de Grimr by Jérémie Moreau or Jean Doux et le mystère de la disquette molle by Philippe Valette, as well as many series acclaimed by the public such as Les Légendaires by Patrick Sobral, Les Carnets de Cerise by Aurélie Neyret and Joris Chamblain, as well as Lanfeust, Trolls, De Cape et de Crocs and, very recently, Les Indes Fourbes, a best-seller that has already won many prizes. The Delcourt Group is also the publishing house chosen by the big names of the current French-language bande dessinée: Lewis Trondheim, Christophe Arleston, Benjamin Lacombe, Alain Ayroles, Guy Delisle, Marc-Antoine Mathieu, Boulet, Pénélope Bagieu, François Bourgeon, Juanjo Guarnido and Bastien Vivès, to mention only a few. Since 2018, Delcourt has opened up to fiction and non-fiction literature by launching Delcourt littérature for foreign-language books, Les Avrils for French literature and with the takeover of Marchialy editions, specialized in narrative non-fiction.
