It publishes numerous successful authors such as Marc Levy, Marek Halter, Jean d’Ormesson, Paul Eluard, Frédéric Mitterand, Ken Follett, Bret Easton Ellis, and Carlos Ruiz Zafòn, to name only a few. Julliard, the publishing house that discovered Françoise Sagan, joined Robert Laffont in 1995 and has continued to publish contemporary French literature such as Mazarine Pingeot, Yasmina Khadra, and Jean Teulé. Robert Laffont’s mission never changes: always surprise, inform, move, amuse, and challenge! The Robert Laffont group is made up of four publishing houses: Robert Laffont, Julliard, Seghers, and Nil. Each year, they publish 200 new titles in all areas: French and foreign novels, essays, documents, short stories, memoires, non-fiction, poetry, and theatre.
